Several individuals travel to Kefalonia in order to end up in Myrtos. That is how great this beach is, indeed. Myrtos beach encourages you to spend the entire day there, and we assure you that doing so will be the best decision you've ever made. It is surrounded by high cliffs and is encased in a sheltered bay with deep, turquoise waves and beautiful, white stones. Only a tiny part of the beach is organised; the rest is more untamed and ideal for people seeking quiet. Paragliding is one of the things you can do here, and if you bring youngsters, keep an eye out for the rapidly rising waters. We strongly recommend you to stay for the stunning, amazing sunset.

Antisamos
This Kefalonian beach, with its green hills in the background, beautiful pebbly sand, and blue waves, defies the label of "tropical paradise." Antisamos is a Kefalonian seaside paradise. So lay out your blanket and relax, then go snorkelling or join in some other water sports. As an alternative, consider taking a boat to Koutsoupia beach (quite a hike), where you may enjoy the beautiful waters.

Kanali Beach
Kanali beach is located just below the complex of apartments. If you are looking for a swim in the sea and at the same time a wonderful walking route among reeds and running waters, then the Livathos Canal has been created for you. The descent through the magnificent route is relatively relaxing, while on the ascent the walker has the opportunity to stop at the benches that have been placed, for a breath of fresh air and to admire the view. At the end of the route and when yoy have climbed up, you will be rewarded by a wonderful spring with cool water! The whole route takes about 10 minutes, and the reward is an exotic beach with white pebbles, soft sand and clear blue waters.

Makris Gialos
Makris Gialos is the most visited beach of Kefalonia. It is located just 3 kilometers from Argostoli and together with Platis Gialos, which is right next to it, it is the most favorite destination of young and old tourists for diving, playing with the waves, sunbathing, but also... having fun at the famous beach bars! Makris Gialos is a sandy beach, with yellow sand and clear blue waters

Petanoi
The steep cliffs surrounding Petani beach are covered with lush green plants that seem to fall directly into the sea. The contrast between the turquoise waters and the white pebbly sand is striking, and you will have the illusion of being in paradise. Below the surface of the sea, the colours change due to a stream of fresh water coming down the mountainside, making this spot excellent for snorkelling. Legend has it that in ancient times, fairies used to wash their clothes at the springs while enjoying the view.

Xi
Xi Beach is a natural palette of vibrant colours and make sure you have a full battery on your phone when you visit, because you really won't stop taking pictures! Kefalonia's most special beach is located on the southwestern side of the island after Lixouri. The clay sand is orange-yellow (and yes, it is suitable for spa and exfoliation), the water has shades of green and blue and with such colours we can definitely talk about one of the most impressive beaches of Kefalonia. At the same time its shallow waters make it an ideal choice for families. There are many activities here that will keep you busy all day, and if you stay in the afternoon -again- make sure you have a battery in your phone, because the sunset at Xi beach is absolutely gorgeous.
